Rev Up EVs at Illinois Community Colleges
Since the spring of 2024, IGEN has been assisting the Illinois Community College Board, working to support community colleges as the state’s leading driver of sector-based workforce development, with the goal of preparing Illinois’ future-ready EV and manufacturing workforce.
IGEN is providing technical assistance to community colleges, to facilitate faculty training, industry and workforce collaboration, pathways from secondary education, and development of competency-based curricula.
