Weatherization Task Force

Description:
Community colleges are already a major player in providing training for weatherization and residential energy efficiency programs. However, the numerous programs offered by colleges across the state currently operate independently from one another.

Goal:
To identify and prioritize how the Network can support, assist and engage Illinois community colleges in the process of:

  • Developing a central repository for information on these training programs
  • Creating a broader plan for how to best leverage the resources of community colleges to increase the success of weatherization and residential energy efficiency services.
