Support the conservation of natural habitats in Illinois
Promote awareness on Illinois community college campuses and coordinate efforts across the state.
None/to be determined.
Illinois community colleges are taking action to help save the monarch butterfly, an iconic species whose populations have declined by 80% in the last 20 years. The network is committing to modeling monarch conservation on campuses by creating habitat, educating students and the public, and forming partnerships in order to help the monarch flourish across the state and across the continent.
