The Illinois Green Economy Network (IGEN) has made huge strides in the advancement of sustainability across the state through its network of community colleges. Through a variety of funding and programming, IGEN supports college efforts to prepare students for green careers, turn campuses into living laboratories, and save colleges money through energy demand reduction, energy efficiency and renewable energy. These efforts help to conserve and protect Illinois’ vital natural resources and educate its residents. With your help, together we can continue to make our communities healthy and prosperous for generations to come.
The IGEN Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations, membership, and sponsorship go to the IGEN Foundation and are tax deductible.
There are many ways to contribute to and be involved with IGEN across the state. Choose the option that is best for you!
You can become a member of IGEN as a college, business or an individual. Along with direct benefits to members, all membership proceeds help us develop and maintain our programming.
You can sponsor an upcoming IGEN event, program/project, sustainability area, or help us improve our Measure of Success on college campuses.
In addition to all other options, you can also make a one-time or repeat donation to the IGEN Foundation. A donation in any amount will support our ongoing sustainability efforts across the state.
IGEN is partnering with Home Depot to help green our community colleges, our local communities, and build careers through eco-purchasing. Learn more about how to purchase products through the Home Depot portal. The IGEN Foundation will receive 3% of every purchase.
