The Illinois Green Economy Network (IGEN) is hosting its annual conference!
WHEN: April 1 – 2, 2020
WHERE: Heartland Community College in Normal, Illinois
WHO: Illinois community college faculty, staff, and students, including representatives from administration, facilities, and sustainability professionals; other higher education institutions; and community businesses, organizations, and partners.
WHAT: The conference will bring together representatives from Illinois community colleges and partners to share best practices, lessons learned, and successes to advance sustainability across the state through our collective impact.

The agenda will focus on and include the following (subject to change):
- Information/updates on the network’s funding, initiatives/programs, and membership, including opportunities for participation
- Discussion/presentations from experts and partners in the energy and sustainability fields
- Discussion/presentations on college best practices, highlights, and successes for advancing sustainability
- Breakout sessions on current network activities, programs, and projects
- And more!
The conference will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 and end at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2020 (subject to change). The conference location is Heartland Community College, in the Astroth Community Education Center, in Normal, Illinois:

The networking event/reception will occur on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The event will be held at a local nearby restaurant (to be confirmed). Please indicate your attendance when you register!
