| Grant Accountant and Coordinator : Illinois Green Economy Network | |
| Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for the position of Grant Accountant and Coordinator Illinois Green Economy Network (IGEN). This is a part time professional position reporting to the Financial Advisor. In accordance with the Mission and Values of Southwestern Illinois College, this position provides accounting and administrative support for the Illinois Green Economy Network (IGEN). Responsibilities include accounting for any and all local, state and federal grants, as well as any other revenue sources of the network. Services also include budgeting, bookkeeping (receipts and disbursements), financial reporting, and grant compliance and reporting. Administrative support responsibilities include assisting in the day-to-day operations of IGEN programs and initiatives, exercising judgment in disseminating material or information based on an in-depth knowledge of IGEN policies and procedures, prioritizing workflow, and initiating action regarding organizational details. This position is contingent upon grant funding.

| Director, Green Economy and Sustainable Water Center : Illinois Green Economy Network | |
| The Director, Green Economy and Sustainable Water Center will provide leadership for two major efforts at CLC. First, the Director assumes overall responsibility for the Lake Michigan Center for Sustainable Water Center, including academic programs, indoor and outdoor facilities, internal and external outreach, and coordination of research and educational activities. During the start-up phase of the center, the Director will work collaboratively to ensure clear communication between internal and external constituents; create and promote key messaging about the center's mission; and leverage limited resources to create this center in prescribed phases. The second effort will focus on the development and delivery of programs and services designed to prepare both individuals and businesses for operating within a "Green Economy". The Director will work in collaboration with CLC faculty and staff, the Sustainability Coordinator, local/state government agencies, not-for profits, members of the Illinois Green Economy Network (IGEN), and other organizations engaged in energy efficiency and conservation efforts. The Director will support efforts in Lake County that lead toward a prepared and well educated workforce with the skills necessary to support energy efficiency, conservation, and sustainability businesses and industries.

| Education Technology and Instructional Design Coordinator | |
| Under the administrative supervision of the Career Pathways Education Technology Director, the Education Technology and Instructional Design Coordinator works with faculty and staff from partnering community colleges to plan, develop, and incorporate online and hybrid curriculum into green career training and education programs. The Coordinator will assist with planning, development, and implementation of a variety of learning content in a web-based course delivery environment through the US Department of Energy National Training and Education Resource (NTER) course management system. NTER operates as an open source cloud computing application.

| Regional Coordinator, Career Pathways Program : Illinois Green Economy Network | |
| The Regional Coordinator will direct and coordinate activities relating to curriculum development, acting as a liaison between colleges, businesses and industry partners in their designated regions and/or industry sector. Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree; community college, not-for-profit, or corporate experience; experience developing and implementing new curriculum and educational programming; highly developed and effective oral and written communication skills; strong organizational and project management skills as demonstrated by work experience; ability to travel regionally, with some state-wide travel necessary. Desired qualifications include experience working with governmental agencies, not-for-profits, and businesses in the development of educational programs and services; experience collaborating with multiple entities in the delivery of programs or services; ability to research, gather information, and document activities, programs, and outcomes; experience working with federal grants; experience in convening diverse groups of stake holders for a common purpose.

The Local Foods Coordinator, under supervision of the Dean, Biological & Health Sciences, manages food production for the campus local foods and sustainable agriculture activities, including development of crop production schedules, coordination of sales to food services; coordinates the collection of compostable waste from food service/cafeteria and manages the composting system on horticulture building grounds; maintains and supervises the community garden(s); maintains equipment and works with Facilities and Grounds as needed; assists in the preparation and tracking of budget; supervises temporary employees; and performs community outreach and education.
